Everything is moving at a snail's pace and that includes me. Watered at 5:30 this morning and then harvested some beans, chard, beets, squash and chili peppers. I didn't have the energy to come upstairs, get the camera, and photograph before I cooked them. Too hot to work the stove after 8:00 in the morning.
We all slept in the living room where the one air conditioner is. The temperature in our bedroom was 97° at 10:00 pm.
I think I'll find a movie to take my daughter to.

We broke an 11 year heat record yesterday. It looks like 2 more days of heat.....then nice temps over the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteIt's 8:30 a.m. here, beautiful and sunny, 73F outside. I know, I shouldn't rub it in. I'll be joining you in your misery in a few days, except our night temps are usually mild and I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom ;-)
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
Wow! You are sweltering. We're quite warm here too in Central FL, but used to it and have central AC. Hope you cool off a little soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are also sleeping in living room for the past two days. It would be so nice to have a rainy day!
